About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate or AVP for its Residential Securitized Products Structuring team. The successful candidate will be involved in the structuring and execution of a variety of residential mortgage securitizations and financing transactions, with a focus on non-Agency mortgage products. This role demands a high level of expertise in transaction execution, cash flow modeling, investor analysis, and interactions with rating agencies. Key responsibilities include supporting the structuring and execution of both public and private-label RMBS transactions, building and maintaining cash flow models, analyzing collateral pools, and preparing materials for rating agencies. The role also requires close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle. Applicants should have 3-7 years of experience in securitized products, structured finance, RMBS, mortgage finance, capital markets, or a related field, with a strong background in residential mortgage securitizations and credit products. Proficiency in financial modeling, and tools such as Intex, Bloomberg, and Excel, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of RMBS structures, bond cash flows, and credit enhancement, as well as the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. A CFA designation or progress toward one is preferred, and experience with analytical tools such as VBA, Python, or SQL is a plus.
