About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Structured Products within its Insurance Solutions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including the development and maintenance of automated Intex infrastructure for on-demand risk analytics, the creation and upkeep of models for private structured deals, and the compilation of monthly updates of collateral and deal information. This role requires a high level of collaboration with quantitative, operational, and IT resources to build and support the analytics platform, as well as the development and testing of cashflows, valuations, and risk metrics under various scenarios. The VP will also be expected to partner with portfolio management to align model assumptions and to build strong relationships with internal and external teams. Applicants for this role should have a background in finance, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, with a preference for advanced degrees. A minimum of 3 years' experience with Intexwrap and Intex Dealmaker, 4 years in model development with Python, and 3 years in modeling structured deal waterfalls in Intex is essential. Professional designations such as CFA or FRM are favorable, and a strong understanding of financial mathematics, including bond mathematics and modern financial concepts, is required. Proficiency in SQL and Python is a must, with experience in VS Code IDE, GIT, Docker, and cloud applications being a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a high level of integrity.
