Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, is seeking a motivated Legal Intern to join our Legal team in Alpharetta, GA. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a current student to gain meaningful, hands-on experience inside a global technology company known for precision, reliability, and innovation. As a Legal Intern, you will work alongside experienced in-house counsel, contribute to real business matters, and support the operations that help drive Leica Geosystems' continued growth. About the Role The Summer Legal Intern will assist with the day-to-day functions of the Legal department, supporting both operational tasks and substantive legal projects. This role is ideal for students interested in corporate, commercial, or technology-focused in-house legal work. Key Responsibilities: Document & File Management - Organize, maintain, and archive digital and physical legal files. Contract Support - Assist with reviewing, tracking, summarizing, and cataloging commercial agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents. Legal Research & Special Projects - Conduct targeted legal research and support ad hoc assignments related to corporate governance, compliance, regulatory matters, and internal process improvements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Interest in legal practice, particularly at the intersection of technology, innovation, and business operations.
