Operations Manager

Your Role at Raising Cane’s The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in leading operational excellence of the Restaurant and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture in all areas of Restaurant operations. Responsibilities Execute restaurant operations functions and act as manager on duty. Open and close the restaurant, manage cash handling, and ensure accountability. Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards. Conduct shift management meetings and maintain safety standards. Use required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution and document results. Deploy Crewmembers during a shift and authorize employee functions requiring manager approval. Provide exemplary customer service and utilize reward and recognition programs for Crewmembers. Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and that the facility is in good working order. Complete other duties as assigned. Essential Functions (Physical Requirements) Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; bend, kneel, twist, and reach overhead or below waist. Navigate stairs, move quickly, and stay on your feed throughout the shift. Take orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and communicate clearly. Work safely around hot cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, and common ingredients like oil and flour. Maintain a clean, safe restaurant while following all food safety and company procedures. Occasionally drive on behalf of the Company for work‑related purposes as required. Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience. Valid, state‑issued driver’s license. Complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs. Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends and travel as needed for work‑related functions and training. Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may constantly change. Self‑driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create and execute plans to solve problems. Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
