Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, from the initial concept and design stage through to the completion and handover of the project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, designing, managing, and supervising construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: As a Civil Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
• Using AutoCAD and other engineering design software to create detailed designs and plans.
• Managing all phases of the project, from initial planning and feasibility studies through to design, construction, and handover.
• Conducting site surveys and geotechnical investigations to gather data for the design and planning of projects.
• Working closely with project managers, architects, and other professionals to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Preparing and presenting reports, proposals, technical drawings, and designs.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with local and national regulations and codes of practice.
• Supervising and directing construction teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed according to plans.
• Identifying and resolving any potential issues or problems that could impact the successful completion of the project.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on project management, AutoCAD, structural engineering, construction management, engineering design, surveying, and geotechnical engineering.
• Proven experience in managing and supervising construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using engineering software, including AutoCAD and other design software.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
