Payroll Coordinator

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Payroll Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.Duties:

• Calculate wages, including overtime and bonuses, and process payroll transactions accurately and on time
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes to information including salaries and direct deposit
• Ensure all payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Prepare and generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes
• Act as a point of contact for employees to address payroll-related questions and concerns
• Manage timekeeping systems, process time sheets, and handle deductions, such as wage garnishments
• Work closely with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll data is accurate and processes are streamlined
• Work with payroll vendor to address system modifications/issues

Skills

• At least 3 years of previous payroll administration experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong math, data entry, problem solving and reconciliation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency with payroll software, ADP Workforce Now preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications including Word & Excel

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
