Be a part of our team of healthcare heroes.Catholic Health is also proud to be voted one of Newsday's Top Places to Work on Long Island in 2018 and 2019 and Modern Healthcare's Best Place to work in both 2019 and 2020.Job DetailsOur Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN's:Assess, monitor, administer medication and manage overall care for premature and/or critically ill babies in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients' loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.What you'll bring:Passion for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in the NICU, Level III preferredExternship or Capstone in the NICUEducation: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degreeWill consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN programLicensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & RegistrationCertification: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.Salary Range USD $59.61 - USD $77.49 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
