Shipping Associate / Forklift Operator - Manufacturing

Location: Springfield, OH
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Job Overview

We are hiring a reliable Shipping Associate / Forklift Operator for a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory verification, and material movement , supporting daily operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks using a forklift
Receive, inspect, and verify all inbound and outbound shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
Ensure accuracy of shipping paperwork and system entries
Deliver materials to work centers to support production
Enter and track data using Microsoft Office and SAP systems
Maintain organized shipping/receiving areas
Provide timely support to internal departments
Follow direction from supervisors and management

Requirements

Prior forklift experience required
Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP (or similar ERP systems)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
