Member of Technical Staff

Responsibilities

• Design and build reinforcement-learning environments, evaluations, and datasets for high-value frontier-model capability gaps.
• Develop internal platforms and infrastructure to run hundreds of thousands of tasks with strong throughput, reproducibility, and observability.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers at leading AI labs to shape dataset development around model roadmaps.
• Build grading harnesses, metrics, and automated checks to measure environment and dataset quality.
• Prototype rapidly and harden successful work into production systems that others can operate independently.
• Contribute to Roboflow’s open-source projects when beneficial to the broader community.

Requirements

• Strong generalist engineering background and practical experience with agents, evaluations, or reinforcement-learning workflows.
• Strong technical background and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously on ill-defined problems at the frontier of AI with a bias toward action.
• Experience with computer vision, multimodal models, or prior work with an AI lab as a data or evaluation partner is preferred.
