About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Risk and Compliance Officer to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the global risk strategy within a high-growth platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and managing a forward-looking compliance strategy across multiple jurisdictions, overseeing licensing, and ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks. This role demands a leader with extensive experience in risk, compliance, or governance within regulated financial environments, a strong understanding of complex regulatory regimes, and a proven ability to design and scale enterprise risk frameworks. The Chief Risk and Compliance Officer will also be tasked with providing subject-matter expertise across a broad range of investment products and structures, engaging directly with regulators, and managing formal reviews or audits. Key responsibilities for the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at the company include enterprise risk management, controls, assurance, and operational risk, business continuity, and resilience. The role involves designing and implementing a firmwide risk management architecture, maintaining a consistent approach to risk mitigation, and developing scalable tools for risk management. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of investment-related products and associated regulatory considerations, be a credible communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders, and have a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. A degree is required, with an advanced qualification such as a JD or MBA preferred, and relevant certifications in risk, compliance, or finance are advantageous. The role also requires the ability to foster a culture that balances commercial growth with disciplined risk awareness and to act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and governance bodies.
