Think Coffee's BAKERY is currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our baking team!
This position is a wonderful growth opportunity for the right candidate.
Our in-house baking staff makes everything from scratch on a seasonal menu. We bake muffins, scones, cookies, cakes, and our menu is expanding rapidly!
Duties include, but are not limited to:Baking of pastries
Preparation of batters and doughs
Ensuring completion of daily food preparation and timeliness in production
Basic kitchen maintenance
Requirements:
Professional kitchen experience and basic baking/pastry technique
Availability to work day time shifts Fridays and Saturdays, with other weekday shifts possible
Ability to follow recipes exactly as they are written
Willingness to take direction and accept constructive criticism
Be focused and punctual
Have a good attitude
Flexibility in scheduling
Knowledge of health hazards in food preparation and service
A NYC Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to get one during your training period)
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods of time
Fluent in English
