Peer Navigator
AIDS Healthcare Foundation
The Peer Navigator contributes to AHF by playing a key role in engaging participants, providing peer support, and connecting individuals to appropriate services and resources. The Peer Navigator enhances the reputation of AHF by conducting outreach and represent the program at community events and partner meetings. The Peer Navigator will collaborate with team members to ensure a safe, welcoming, and recovery-oriented environment. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as the Peer Navigator, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF, we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Peer Navigator will work as a part of a close-knit team to providing peer support and engagement to individuals accessing The Living Room. This role is ideal for someone with lived or professional experience in recovery who is passionate about building community, reducing barriers to care, and supporting individuals at all stages of change. Licenses and Certifications: Peer Specialist certification (or willingness to obtain) SunServe is Broward County's leading lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, asexual/ally and gender variant+ (LGBTQIA+) social service agency.
