Job Description
The Lead Bartender position will be an hourly position with the primary role of bartending in addition to 4-6 hours a week of managing inventory, ordering and staff and menu development. Salary and bonus plan will be determined based on experience, education and results. The lead bartender will be an active bartender and will be a tipped employee. The bar hours are Sun-Thu from 4-9 and Fri-Sat 4-11 with Sunday to be determined. The lead bartender will be part of the team making decision on our hours of operation, special events and extended hours for peak periods, bar programing... There is light food service offered during limited hours in the evening.
- Manage supplies, ordering, taking inventory and training staff on proper service and prodution.
- Overseeing quality and safety control.
- Working with diverse personalities both on the staff and patrons.
- Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons and staff
The Celeste is an independent boutique property in a former music and arts conservatory and convent. We have a great opportunity to build the business through connection with our neigborhood and guests. Our guests are looking for a classy, upscale enviroment that also doesn't take itself to seriously.
