Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to deliver specialized care to critically ill newborns. The role involves clinical review, patient assessment, and collaboration with healthcare teams during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting.
• Conduct clinical reviews and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments following doctor's orders and safety guidelines.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document clinical observations accurately in patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active State Registered Nurse license (pending licenses accepted, must be in hand before start).
• Require BLS certification and NRP certification in-hand at time of submission.
• Have minimum 13 weeks of NICU nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic medical record systems.
• Must be able to work night (4x12-hour shifts) schedule from 19:00 to 07:00.
• Be compliant with Tier 2 travel regulations and verify Nursys verification.
