Baptist Health is looking to add a Security Officer to our Protective Services Department at our Baptist Nassau location. This is a full-time, night shift opportunity position working from 6:00 PM - 6:15 AM. The Security Officer's primary function is to assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are our top priority, this growing team is currently implementing new technologies such as metal detectors. Responsibilities The Security Officer will conduct patrols, monitor premises, respond to incidents, and enforce campus security procedures. Experience Requirements 1-2 years of Law Enforcement experience 1-2 years of Security Officer experience 1-2 years of Military experience Education & Credential Requirements High School Diploma (required) Associate or Science degree (preferred) Driver's License – DMV Positions designated as requiring a Level II Background (a detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that checks state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
