Mechanical Assembler

1st Shift Mechanical Assembler Pay: $21$24/hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm Key Responsibilities Assemble custom water purification systems using hand and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings. Measure, cut, and assemble piping, including PVC, stainless steel, copper, and galvanized materials. Mount, fit, and secure mechanical components to frames and structures. Conduct quality inspections and testing of completed assemblies. Fabricate and modify components according to specifications. Prepare finished products for packaging and shipment. Assist with material handling, inventory organization, and shop housekeeping. Maintain quality, safety, and production standards throughout the assembly process. Required Qualifications Minimum 6 months of mechanical assembly, construction, manufacturing, or related experience. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, or technical drawings. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Work Environment Modern, indoor production facility. Climate-controlled and clean shop environment. Team-based custom assembly projects. Daily use of hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and blueprints. Requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing hands-on assembly throughout the shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.
