As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Hampton, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, agile, and reliable team culture while bringing integrity and innovation to every interaction throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support badge, visitor, and/or delivery procedures in accordance with site protocols while reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Observe working environments and conditions across the location, report maintenance or policy issues, and support a professional presence during daily operations and after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
