Jackson and Coker is seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in Ohio. This role involves 24-hour call coverage for an adult patient population at a full-service acute care hospital. The assignment begins May 28 and is ongoing, with an immediate need for at least two months due to a provider medical emergency. Practice Info Full-service acute care hospital Adult patient population 100% hospital-based practice Team includes 1 physician and 2 APPs Onsite lab and imaging available 250 total beds; 60 ICU beds EMR: Epic Responsibilities Perform Cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures Perform Coronary artery bypass Perform Congenital defect repairs Perform Valve repair and replacement Perform Aneurysm repair Perform Lung resections, including VATS Perform Chest wall and pleural procedures Perform Esophageal and diaphragm surgeries Perform Carotid and renal endarterectomy Manage Vent Perform Bronchoscopy Manage acute volume and blood pressure issues Benefits Top-rated malpractice insurance Full-service in-house travel agency and credentialing coordinators Shift & Schedule June 22 (7am) -June 26 (7am) July 6 (7am)- July 16 (7am) July 20 (7am) – July 31 (7am) 24-hour coverage period, 7 AM – 7 AM Weekend coverage required Ongoing need for at least 2 months, with sporadic coverage afterward Requirements Board Certified in Cardiovascular, Thoracic (Vascular Surgery is preferred) Active Ohio state license or IMLC BLS ACLS Clean malpractice for emergency privileges
