Supervisor Role

The Medicare team is responsible for servicing Medicare members including Med Supp and Total Duals/D-SNP (Dual Special Need Plans). The Supervisor will report to the department Manager. In this role you will manage a team of front-line representatives, focusing on coaching/engagement, Quality, Inventory Management and helping evolve member experience. We are open 7am to 8pm 7 days a week, supervisors will rotate core shift, late shifts, weekend shifts and holidays to ensure ample leadership support.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for routine operations and people management functions
• Foster a great place to work communicating clear roles and responsibilities and building successful working relationships across the organization
• Consult and make recommendations to management on operational issues
• Use concepts and abilities to manage processes and operations, including procedural changes, inventories, and workload management
• Apply policies and procedures within health care operations
• Provide regular coaching to each team member, including audit feedback, corrective actions, and performance improvement
• Perform routine quality audits for each team member to help improve the overall quality experience
• Manage onboarding of new team members
• Complete administrative tasks such as updating timecards, schedule updates, etc.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

In this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• A minimum of 2 years of experience operating in a lead role or equivalent leadership training or manager training
• Attend onsite meetings as scheduled
• Understands basic supervisory/management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution
• Broad job knowledge of technical or operational practices within assigned discipline
• Medicare experience preferred
• Experience supervising a remote team preferred
• Call center experience strongly preferred
• Strong internet service required, including at least 16 megabytes per second download and most importantly 5 megabytes per second upload
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Hybrid Virtual Work

This role allows employees to work virtually full-time, however employees will be expected to come to the office based on business need.
