You will represent assigned financial institution clients in loss mitigation and asset recovery service efforts. You are responsible for representing the firm professionally through timeliness and compliant processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.Associate Attorney Job ResponsibilitiesDraft and prepare legal documents for court filing, including but not limited to: FDCPA Letters, Demand Letters, Notices of Sale, and Sheriff's Deeds.Represent client interests; provide strategic legal counsel to staff and clients on a variety of issues.Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.Review court alerts and provide compliance guidance in a timely and accurate manner.Work cross-functionally with other attorneys, legal assistants, support staff, and external vendors.Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).Required Qualifications and SkillsJuris Doctor (JD) is required from a law school.Admission to the State Bar of Ohio and in good standing required.Admission to the State Bar of Indiana and/or State Bar of Kentucky is a plus.1+ years of relevant experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, title, collections, or creditors' rights preferred, but no direct experience required.Knowledge of Ohio court procedures and filing requirements.Strong legal research and writing skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Strong analytical and research skills.What We Offer YouCompetitive pay ratesPaid time off (PTO) + paid holidaysMedical (Blue-Cross Blue-Shield) insuranceVision and Dental insurance401(k) Traditional/Roth retirement plans with employer matchCompany-paid disability and life insurancePaid Maternity/Paternity leave benefitsCompany-organized Volunteer opportunitiesCommitment to providing work-life balanceTeam bonding events, gift raffles, annual holiday party, and more!This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with an average of 40 hours per week.
