Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, ER to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume ER setting with patient ratios typically ranging from 4:1 to 7:1.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation in the Cerner system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment, including Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
• Demonstrate respectful behavior and effective communication in patient interactions, maintaining updated communication boards.
• Adhere to department scheduling requirements, including every other weekend, and remain open to float within the ED.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1-year in an ER setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS required before start date.
• CPI certification before starting, ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center with a high-volume ED preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to provide real-time feedback.
