Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation utilizing Cerner system.
• Ensure adherence to patient experience standards, including AIDET and respectful behavior.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience with at least one year in an emergency room setting.
• Advanced certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Strong teamwork mentality and flexibility to work in all ED areas.
• Ability to coach and give real-time feedback.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred.
