About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its community-focused, mission-driven organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, fostering a culture of support and accountability, and overseeing the development and retention of staff. This role requires a dynamic individual with at least 10 years' experience in a senior leadership position within a non-profit direct service or social justice organization, and a genuine commitment to the community and the mission of the organization. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, lead programmatic and operational oversight, and be the primary representative for fundraising and external relations. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include driving the organization's vision of building equitable futures, leading the assessment and optimization of organizational systems, and identifying strategic partnerships to enhance program impact. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, a strong appetite for fundraising, and exceptional communication skills. They should be collaborative, empathetic, and able to maintain energy and optimism in the face of challenges. The role demands a leader who can achieve strategic clarity, maintain operational velocity, and pivot thoughtfully during periods of change. The Executive Director will also be responsible for ensuring that the organization's programs reflect high standards for impact and a community service orientation, with a focus on youth and family development, community organizing, workforce development, and education.
