Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Alaska license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Yukon Kuskokwin Health Corporation (Non-MSP - VMS).

Required Credentials: - Clinicians who have completed Alaska’s License By Endorsement process and obtained temporary permit may be submitted. - Must be prepared to take a math test on medication calculations for adults and pediatrics upon arrival and before working the floor.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Pediatrics and adult experience preferred.

Unit Details: - Placement will be at a regional clinic. - Cares for patients from birth to elderly, including post-surgical and behavioral health patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - Orientation starts on a Tuesday.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
