Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA)- Risk, Vice President

Job Description The BXMA Risk team is responsible for generating performance, attribution, and risk analytics across BXMA’s businesses and leveraging BXMA’s proprietary data. The team seeks a Vice President to analyze portfolios across BXMA’s Absolute Return and Total Portfolio Management businesses. Responsibilities Develop, execute, and analyze ongoing and bespoke performance and portfolio analytics across attribution, risk modeling, and portfolio construction. Develop and maintain internal data solutions with a focus on scalability and computational efficiency. Collaborate closely with Investment teams and other BXMA groups, including Operations, Treasury, and Legal, to ensure seamless integration and effective collaboration. Provide risk analysis, attribution and risk analytics support to the BXMA Risk team. Prepare and present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Assist with regulatory and statutory risk reporting requirements. Lead or participate in projects involving AI tools for coding, such as Cody or Codex, and Bloomberg Python APIs. Maintain rigorous data validation, testing, and code reliability. Assist in sourcing, cleaning, managing, and analyzing large datasets. Comply with any required securities licenses related to client-facing activities, product marketing, and supervisory duties. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in risk management or quantitative research. Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline. Deep knowledge of risk frameworks, risk models, derivatives, multi-asset class risk management, and fundamental factor models. Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau. Experience with Bloomberg Python APIs, RiskMetrics, Barra, or similar risk engines (plus). Strong focus on data validation, rigorous testing, and code reliability. Proven experience in sourcing, cleaning, managing, and analyzing large datasets. Strong interpersonal and clear, concise communication skills. Benefits Expected annual base salary range: $150,000 - $185,000, with additional compensation and discretionary bonuses.
