You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points and alarm systems, and assist customers and staff with professionalism. Use computer or tablet tools to document observations and communicate clearly while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
