As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service while responding to alarms and reporting observations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:30 AM - 05:30 PM Sun11:30 AM - 05:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to location procedures. Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to store management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Loss prevention experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
