Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. As a Welder/Fitter, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal structures and components. If you have a passion for welding and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements. Perform welding and fitting tasks using various techniques Assemble metal components and structures according to project specifications. Inspect and test welded joints to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure efficient workflow. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus. Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role. Strong knowledge of welding techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not required.
