Senior Provider Contracting Professional

Overview Become a part of our caring community. The Senior Provider Contracting Professional initiates, negotiates, and executes physician, hospital, and/or other provider contracts and agreements for an organization that provides health insurance. Responsibilities Initiate, negotiate, and execute provider contracts and agreements. Analyze complex issues where evaluation of variable factors is required. Communicate contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers. Analyze financial impact of contracts and terms. Maintain contracts and documentation within a tracking system. Assist with identifying and recruiting providers based on network composition and needs. Influence departmental strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. Work independently with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Qualifications 3+ years of progressive network management experience. Experience leading negotiations for complex managed care contracts. Proficiency in analyzing, understanding, and communicating financial impact of contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Must live in the State of Florida and be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time within the region. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Experience with hospital contracting.
