Manual Machinist

Job Title Essential Duties Read blueprints, tooling and set up instructions and standard charts for specifications Set-up, and run all facets of work assigned Spot check production parts using calipers and micrometers per blueprint specifications. Monitor machine operation and report malfunctions to supervisor. Monitor tool performance through in-process quality checklists. Ensure company procedures and "best machine practices" are being always followed and are in place Perform additional related duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2-3 years of Manual Lathe, Mill experience, and Surface grinder. CNC experience a plus. Experience using shop tools such as and not limited to mics, depth gages, calipers, indicators, etc. Strong production and safety knowledge a must Aptitude to work in a team environment with ability to plan and achieve goals Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities Benefits 401K and profit sharing 2 weeks of paid vacation (after one year of employment) Medical and Dental 80% paid by the company Pay is $23-$32/Hour DOE Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4 PM.
