Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program, or equivalent entry-level degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida required to start the assignment.
• Proof of current CPR certification required.
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally.
• Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Must meet mandatory continuing education requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home care experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Position provides physical therapy services in patients' homes within the Lady Lake, FL service area.
• Must be willing and able to travel locally as part of job duties.
• Role requires use of and knowledge about durable medical equipment and ordering appropriate rehabilitative equipment for home use.
