Why This Role Rocks As an Accounting Consultant, you won’t just “keep the books.” You’ll guide clients through financial decisions, optimize their systems, and build strong relationships that make a visible impact. What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will be part of a client success team delivering clarity and peace of mind to our clients. End‑to‑end bookkeeping for multiple clients using QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Timeslips, and other accounting tools to streamline client workflows. Managing key functions including transactional accounting, general ledger, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR). Communicating with clients regularly to plan ahead, clarify financial data, address issues, and build trust. Managing month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and provide clients with actionable insights. Maintaining client records in organized systems for accessibility and audit readiness. Meeting expected billable hours goals and contributing to client retention and firm growth. We Might Be a Match If You: Have 5+ years of accounting experience and can confidently manage multiple clients Have a customer‑centric mindset with the ability to build trust and deliver exceptional service Find value in being a proactive planner and communicator Love bringing structure to chaos and clarity to complexity Are QuickBooks certified or can get certified within 6 months of hire (company‑paid) Are tech‑savvy, proactive, and comfortable recommending better ways to do things Can explain financial concepts in a way that makes sense to non‑accountants Are comfortable working in‑person, whether at our office or a client site Bonus points if you have previously worked in client services or an advisory services role Why You’ll Love Working with Us We’re a supportive, women‑led team that values respect, clear communication, and professionalism.
