Patient Transportation Coordinator/Driver - PACE

Overview $2,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. The Transportation Coordinator picks up and delivers geriatric, frail and/or physically limited PACE participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles, depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs. Responsibilities Pickup and delivery of PACE participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles. Provide safe, reliable transportation aligned with participant needs and program policies. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire. Driving may be required. Caregivers must comply with all state driving laws and requirements. Must provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information. 5 years of driving experience. Preferred Qualifications 2 years driving experience, including driving a large passenger van or small bus. 2 years of experience transporting people with special needs. 1 year of experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
