Patient Transportation Coordinator
$20.19 - $30.26 per hourProvidence Health & Services
Overview The Transportation Coordinator picks up and delivers geriatric, frail and/or physically limited ElderPlace participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles, depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs. Responsibilities Provide safe and reliable transportation for participants, ensuring timely arrivals and compliance with all state laws and regulations. Required Qualifications Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire. Compliance with all state laws and requirements for driving; providing proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. 5 years of driving experience. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of driving experience, including operating a large passenger van or small bus. 2 years of experience transporting people with special needs. 1 year of experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
