Description: Seeking a visionary leader to oversee and scale an integrated engineering organization. This pivotal role involves directing the technical strategy for core areas, reporting to the CTO, and being part of the R&D executive team. Responsible for organizational development, career pathing, and professional frameworks across the department. Requires deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and compliance in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own a unified engineering roadmap across core areas, ensuring seamless integration of technical solutions.
- Lead architecture review processes for platform resilience and compliance with industry standards.
- Advise executive leadership on technical debt, resource allocation, and scalability strategies.
- Design and implement career path frameworks and mentorship programs to foster a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate scientific needs into secure technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- 12 years of progressive experience in software engineering, with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven ability to operate at the executive level, directly reporting to C-Suite executives.
- Deep experience within regulated industries such as Life Sciences or Healthcare.
- Track record of managing complex systems and fostering organizational growth.
- Experience in AI-driven transformation of engineering practices.
