• Hours/Week: 36-40 hours/week

• License/Certifications: Active MI Medical License, MI Controlled Substance License, MI DEA
• Experience: BC in Hospital Medicine, prior inpatient experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during night shifts with an average census of 15 patients
• Manage approximately 2 admissions per night, with timely responses and patient handoffs
• Respond to calls, provide overnight assessment and management of patients
• Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards
• Participate in onsite orientation prior to starting (scheduled for 07/15/2026 at 8:30 AM)

What You Need:

• Active Michigan Medical License
• Board Certified in Hospital Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active MI Controlled Substance License
• Active MI DEA license
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient hospitalist experience preferred
