Structural Steel Project ManagerA well-established and growing structural steel fabricator/erector is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee projects from award through closeout. This role is ideal for a driven construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background managing structural steel fabrication, erection, and field coordination.The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle—ensuring schedules, budgets, communication, and execution remain aligned while delivering successful outcomes for clients and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage structural steel projects from contract award through final closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reportingCoordinate with fabrication teams, detailers, field superintendents, subcontractors, and clientsLead project meetings and maintain strong customer relationships throughout executionReview drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentsMonitor project progress, manpower planning, logistics, quality, and safety performanceManage procurement activities and support subcontractor/vendor negotiationsIdentify and resolve project issues proactively to maintain schedule and profitabilityOversee project documentation, billing support, and final turnoverQualifications5+ years of experience managing structural steel fabrication and/or erection projectsStrong understanding of structural steel construction methods, sequencing, and field operationsAbility to interpret structural drawings, specifications, and contract documentsExperience with scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and change managementExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsProficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office SuitePreferred ExperienceExperience with commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy structural steel projectsFamiliarity with AISC standards and structural steel industry best practicesPrevious experience working for a structural steel fabricator and/or erectorExposure to detailing, fabrication workflows, or shop coordination is a plusCompensation & Benefits$125,000–$175,000 DOEMedical, Dental & Vision InsurancePTO & Paid Holidays401(k)Career advancement and long-term growth opportunitiesIf you're an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager looking to join a reputable organization with a strong backlog and long-term opportunity, we'd like to connect.Send your resume to: View email address on click.appcast.io
