Providence Saint John's Health Center is seeking an RN for the Operating Room (OR). This is a travel position with a start date of ASAP and an end date of 11/02/2026. The contract duration is 13 weeks. The shift is from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with three shifts per week totaling 36 scheduled hours. The call requirements include two primary weekday calls, two secondary weekday calls, two primary weekend calls, and two secondary weekend calls. The facility is an acute care hospital located on the beach with 266 staffed beds. RNs are required to wear navy blue scrubs. The charting system used is Epic. Parking costs are $10.00 for a hang-tag and $35.00 for key-cards, with additional charges of $38 per pay period at the hospital or $16 per pay period for parking at St. Anne's.

The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the OR, specifically in orthopedic/joint surgeries, and must possess a CA state license. Required certifications include BLS. The candidate should be proficient in various surgical procedures including abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, carpal tunnel release, laminectomy/discectomy, and more. The candidate must also be willing to float between all facilities within the state and commit to working three of the five specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD).
