The Clinic Manager oversees the daily operations of a Federally Qualified Health Center clinic site, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care; compliance with HRSA requirements; efficient workflow; and strong staff performance.

This position plays a key leadership role in fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in a dynamic primary care and behavioral health environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Direct and manage daily clinical operations, including front desk, medical assistants, nursing staff, care coordination, and support teams.
• Ensure efficient patient flow, appointment access, and adherence to productivity standards.
• Monitor clinic capacity, staffing patterns, and scheduling templates to optimize utilization.
• Oversee supply chain processes, equipment maintenance, and facility needs.
• Maintain emergency preparedness plans consistent with HRSA and accreditation standards.
• Ensure alignment with FQHC requirements, including FTCA standards, HRSA compliance, and UDS reporting needs.
• Partner with Quality Improvement teams to implement QI initiatives, conduct audits, analyze metrics, and support PCMH (Patient-Centered Medical Home) activities.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory bodies (OSHA, CDC, IDPH, HIPAA, Joint Commission if applicable).
• Supervise, train, and evaluate clinic staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Provide leadership in conflict resolution, coaching, and workforce development.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance improvement plans.
• Lead regular staff meetings and foster strong communication across clinical and administrative teams.
• Monitor and manage clinic budget, including staffing, overtime, and supply expenses.
• Support revenue cycle performance by ensuring accurate documentation, coding, and front-desk processes.
• Track productivity, no-show rates, and operational KPls; develop corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement operational initiatives and strategic priorities.
• Conduct self in a professional manner and in compliance with unit and facility policies.
• Initiate emergency support measures (i.e., CPR, BLS).

• Master's in Human Services, Public Health, Nursing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
