Cardiology Rn Outpatient

Inova Cardiology Services is looking for a dedicated Cardiology RN Outpatient to join the team. This role will be full-time, day shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Job responsibilities for the cardiology nurse include:

• Patient education Answering patient questions pre- and post-surgery
• Coordinating patient readiness and care throughout the clinic
• Stress testing (regular, echo and nuclear)
• Helping patients manage INR
• Overseeing clinical workflow and working collaboratively with team

This is a fast-paced service line and part of a growing practice. Inova Cardiology is a team of board-certified physicians and surgeons, nurse practitioners, RNs and LPNs and MAs dedicated to bringing compassionate, comprehensive clinical care to our patients.

Additional requirements:

• Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Certification: BLS for healthcare provider certification required
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience: Greater than one year of RN experience in addition to prior cardiology nursing background such as in IMCU, PCU, Tele, CVICU is preferred.
