Social Media Manager (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce in San Diego, CA is seeking a Social Media Manager (Hybrid) to support its Consumer Group Communications team and the client's brand's social media channels.

Summary:
In this role, the Social Media Manager will support its Consumer Group Communications team and the client's brand's social media platforms. We are seeking an analytical, engineer-minded individual who can turn raw social and consumer data into clear, decision-ready insight.

This person should be able to produce Voice of Consumer (VOC) reports in their sleep - but more than that, they should be a thought partner who proactively surfaces storylines the business hasn't asked for yet, not just a report generator. They are equally comfortable writing a query from scratch as they are presenting findings to leadership in a narrative that lands.

Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain recurring Voice of Consumer (VOC) reporting, synthesizing feedback and sentiment from social platforms, reviews, surveys, and other consumer touchpoints into clear, actionable insight
* Write and optimize queries (SQL and equivalent) to extract, join, and structure data from social listening platforms, data warehouses, and other internal/external sources
* Design and maintain dashboards and self-serve reporting tools that give stakeholders ongoing visibility into social and consumer sentiment trends
* Apply statistical and analytical methods to identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging trends in social and consumer data, distinguishing signal from noise
* Translate complex, multi-source data into clear narratives and visual storytelling that drive decisions for content, brand, and leadership teams - not just charts and raw metrics

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in social media analytics, consumer insights, marketing analytics, or a related data science/analyst role
* Strong SQL skills (or equivalent query languages) with the ability to independently build and troubleshoot queries against large, complex datasets
* Analytical, engineer-minded approach to problem-solving, with comfort working directly with raw and semi-structured data
* Demonstrated experience building Voice of Consumer (VOC) reports and programs, including sourcing, synthesizing, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative feedback
* Exceptional data storytelling skills - able to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
* Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent)
* Experience with social listening and analytics platforms, with preferred expertise using Sprinklr
* Working knowledge of statistical analysis methods and sentiment/text analytics

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation (SQL, data pipelines, statistical/analytical methods), deep fluency in social and consumer listening tools, and the storytelling instincts to translate data into insight that shapes brand, content, and business decisions.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
