Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), with experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of best practices for providing therapy to K-12 students
• Experience supporting students via both teletherapy platforms and onsite services
• Ability to balance a caseload using a 1 hour direct therapy to 0.5 hour indirect service ratio, as per DPI expectations
• Strong interpersonal skills, with capability to collaborate with teachers, families, and educational teams
• Background in multidisciplinary team meetings, including involvement in IEP planning

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate the physical therapy needs of K-12 students
• Deliver individualized direct therapy, as well as indirect consultative services
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to ensure comprehensive student support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and DPI requirements
