This part-time contract position combines flexibility with meaningful impact, utilizing a hybrid VOCO/onsite model to support students’ needs effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active physical therapy license and credentials appropriate for school-based practice
• Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Comfortable with VOCO (virtual/remote) and onsite direct services
• Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Up-to-date knowledge of IEP processes and school documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students according to state and district guidelines (1 hr direct : 0.5 hr indirect ratio)
• Complete thorough student assessments, documentation, and regular progress reporting
• Collaborate with other professionals, including participating in IEP meetings and consultative services
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans meeting each student’s needs
• Engage effectively with families, educators, and other school staff to foster an inclusive, supportive environment
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with compliance standards and confidentiality guidelines
