Physical Therapist PRN Inpatient Rehab

Role: Physical Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Implement and adjust treatment activities, providing patient and family education. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions per departmental standards. Serve as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment. Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and proper communication within the team. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities. Ensure safe and cost-effective use of materials and equipment, adhering to infection prevention protocols. Apply customer service principles, promoting a positive environment and teamwork. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Licenses and certifications including Physical Therapist licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent upon hire.
