OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. WTVFOX 13 Tampa is looking to hire a News Reporter/MMJ. We are the dominant station in the market and continue to evolve the way we serve our viewers. As we ekd day R eporter/MMJ you will innovate, write, and deliver compelling content across every platform from line a r e s t e a t. You will at times be required to shoot and edit our content as we ll. This bureau position will cover the beautiful Pinellas County along the Gulf coast, home to St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Job Snapshot On-Air Presence: Present strategies to live in studio and remote locations, taking full ownership of the final content and delivery. Solo Field Production: Shoot, write, and edit high-quality news video for broadcast and digital platforms. Own the Area: You are the expert for Pinellas County, know every corner from St. Pete to Tarpon Springs, build a network of local sources and understand the unique pulse of the community. Digital & Social First: Write sharp, effective text copy for our digital sites and main interactive social media presence. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a reporter is preferred. Areel that demonstrates our ability to shoot, edit and produce content will get you noticed. This is not an entry-level position or position for candidates who do not have a news background. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $78,000.00-85,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
