Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality treatment and care for both inpatients and outpatients in a diverse clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess patient needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions to assist patients in regaining mobility and functionality.
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families regarding rehabilitation protocols and preventive measures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
Current Physical Therapy license to practice in Texas.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintain currency.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.

Work Environment

This role will operate in a 25-bed critical access facility that includes swing beds and features an ICU unit, Med/Surg unit, orthopedics, and a cardiac cath lab. The acuity level is classified as a Level IV trauma ER.

Schedule

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend and holiday shifts as needed by the department.

Dress Code

Scrubs are required, with no specific color mandated.
