CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment by providing direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. Ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of residents while adhering to facility policies and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic patient care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding residents.
• Monitor and document residents' vital signs and condition changes accurately.
• Assist with mobility and transfer of residents using proper techniques.
• Support medication administration and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.

Qualifications:

• Obtain and maintain a valid CNA license in NM or a compact state.
• Possess 1+ years of relevant experience in long-term care or SNF settings.
• Demonstrate strong communication and compassionate patient care skills.
• Show flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Be willing to float within hospital or affiliate facilities as required.
• Provide two professional references upon request.
