Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist with experience in building trades, cleaning procedures, and general property maintenance in the Melbourne, FL area. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills and be capable of managing multiple maintenance tasks while ensuring safety and operational standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and identify maintenance needs

• Schedule and oversee repair work and maintenance projects

• Manage maintenance inventory, tools, and equipment

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing issues

• Safely operate maintenance tools and equipment

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and the Leasing Specialist

• Train field supervisors on maintenance procedures and safety protocols

• Perform routine safety inspections of facilities and equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role

• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety regulations

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions

• Must pass a background check

• Valid Driver’s License required
