As a Business Development Intern , you’ll work alongside a supportive team in a fast-growing environment while developing valuable skills in sales, networking, customer service, and business development.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Learn about each client’s business needs and recommend appropriate payment solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Communicate with business owners and decision-makers to understand their goals.
- Present payment processing solutions tailored to prospective clients.
- Follow up with prospects and customers to ensure excellent service and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate client and prospect information using CRM and database systems.
- Stay informed about company products, services, and payment industry trends.
- Work toward individual and team sales and business development goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, confident, and comfortable communicating with business owners.
- Organized with strong time-management and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM/database platforms.
- Previous sales, customer service, or business development experience is a plus.
- Payment processing experience is helpful but not required .
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
- $300 commission for every successfully closed merchant account.
