Mechanical Engineer/Product and Component Design EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and release of innovative mechanical products and systems. This is a hands-on role that works closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to bring designs from concept through production.Key Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field- 6+ years of mechanical or product design experience- Proficiency with 3D CAD software- Experience creating engineering drawings and applying GD&T- Strong understanding of mechanical design, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes- Ability to manage multiple projects and solve complex technical issues- Strong communication and collaboration skills- CNC machining or advanced manufacturing experience is a plusResponsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, performance, and manufacturability- Lead and participate in design reviews- Develop and support product testing and validation activities- Manage engineering changes and product improvements- Troubleshoot technical issues and support production as needed- Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and performance requirementsThis is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex design challenges and working across the full product development lifecycle.Does this sound like a good fit, or at least a potentially solid match for your skills and goals?
